The Redwood Creek Trail is a moderately trafficked trail follows a short section of the Redwood Creek. The Redwood Creek runs down from Mount Tamalpais to the ocean. The trail, meanwhile, starts from the south of the Muir Woods National Monument and ends on Highway 1. En route, hikers will see an abundance of flora and fauna – the creek is known to be a habitat for coho salmon and steelhead trout.
