Benicia State Recreation Area is a state park in California safeguarding tidal wetland. It is located in Solano County, 2 miles from Benicia. The park covers around 400 acres of marsh and grassy hillsides as well as beaches along the Carquinez Strait. The recreation area is also home to trail routes. One is the Dillon Point Trail.
The Dillon Point Trail is a .4 mile trail from either the 4th or 5th parking lot along the Dillon Point road. The trail snakes through the waterline as it heads to Dillon Point.
