10 Best Places To Hunt in Georgia

10 Best Places To Hunt in Georgia

Georgia is located in the southeastern region of the United States. Also known as the Peach State, covers about 153,000 square kilometers and is divided into 5 physiographic regions, namely the Cumberland Plateau, Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians, Blue Ridge Mountains, Piedmont, and the Atlantic coastal plain.

The Peach State is home to various huntable game species which include deer, dove, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, and waterfowl as well as non-native invasive species like feral hogs, and coyotes. The state does require hunters to be educated and a Georgia hunting license is required for most hunts.
