A diverse trail passing through forest and meadows and into the crest of the Warner Mountains is Pine Creek Trail. The trail starts from the Pine Creek Trailhead on Forest Road and through Pine Creek Basin and on the crest of the South Warner Range at the Summit Trail junction. The trail features a ranch with cows, stellar rock formations, interesting lakes, beautiful meadows, broad sagebrush, occasional aspen or pine grove, and finally a breathtaking views of the Alturas Valley and Mount Shasta.
