Considered as one of the most popular trails in the Marble Mountain Wilderness apart from the Pacific Crest trail, the Sky High Lakes Trail branches from the Canyon Creek Trail below the junction of the Pacific Crest Trail and crosses the Canyon Creek. Starting from the Canyon Creek trailhead, the trail takes hikers through Little Marble Valley, to a ride at the bottom of Sky High Valley, to Sky High Lakes, to Frying Pan Lake, and meets with the Pacific Crest Trail on the Marble Mountain Rim. This area provides a scenic view of the Marble Mountain, Black Marble Mountain, Box Camp Mountain, and Sky High Valley. Apart from stellar view of the valley, the trail also features a rich and diverse plant and animal life as well as activity options such as camping and horse riding.
