The Rubicon Trail allows access to two parks: the DL Bliss and the Emerald Bay State Park. It is a 12 mile moderately trafficked trail found nearby South Lake Tahoe in California. The trail goes through a variety of terrains, ranging from flat to slight elevation gains and drops, as well as turns along the shoreline cliffs. The trail also features a number of campgrounds near the start and end of the trail as well as a diversified habitat – alders, dogwood, aspen, bitter cherry, wildflowers, ceanothus, currant, huckleberry, manzanita, and more.
