Running parallel to State Route 1 along the Pacific Coast, the Beach Range Road Multi Use Trail is a haven for commuters as it serves as a safer alternative in Sand City, Seaside, and Marina. It also provides a connection to the area’s light trail transit service at 8th Street and CSUMB in Marina.

Fun fact: The trail was previously a military access road for the historic Fort Ord established in 1917 and later on closed in the 90s. It is now home to the Fort Ord Dunes State Park providing a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay as well as Calfornia’s central coast.
