Alice Eastwood Camp Trail – Mount Tamalpais State Park

The Alice Eastwood Camp Trail starts at the junction at the Alice Eastwood Group Campsite. It takes hikers through a dense redwood forest, switchbacks, an intersection with the Bootjack Trail, and finally ends at the Muir Woods National Monument. The Alice Eastwood Camp Trail was named after a botanist and conservationist who saved plant collections from a burning Academy of Sciences building during the San Francisco earthquake in 1906.
