The Hike
Location: Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, CA
Difficulty: Moderate
Features: Hiking trails, ocean views, dogs & horses permitted, bike friendly, free parking at the trailhead.
To get to Arch Rock you would start at the Bear Valley Visitor Center. From an open meadow the Bear Valley Trail turns into a lush woodland which then gets narrower as you move further along. The hike’s good parts start at a bike rack and 4 way intersection.
You will then be entering a singletrack trail as you get out of the woods near the coast. Keep an eye out for the side trail to get an amazing view of the what remains from the collapsed Arch Rock.
