It travels west following a flood-control channel, intersects with the Maria Ignacio Creek Trail near Patterson Avenue, and into Santa Barbara’s center. The trail is popular to commuters and serves as recreation trail to hikers and bikers. Native riparian habitat can be seen along the creek.
