Viewing the cityscape of New York must be an amazing experience, especially at night when you can see all of the sky-scrapers lit up in all their glory. The Antarctic is one of the most unusual and untouched places on the planet and you can see this when you travel there. The cold is so severe you have to wear specific clothing, but don’t let that put you off the Antarctic glaciers as they are some of the most beautiful sights you are ever likely to see. The blues and whites are impossibly vibrant and you get a real feeling of peace and relaxation.

At the summit of Machu Picchu you will be able to view across a beautiful scenic area, with visible mountains, forestry area’s and of course the Machu Picchu City. #15 View Earth From Space

View Earth From Space

Okay so this is not really viable at the present moment in time but mark my words the era of space tourism will be with us before this decade is over, in fact it is a very realistic venture within the next 18-24months thanks to British pioneer Richard Branson. This famous Brit is set to make dreams come true when he finalizes the Virgin Galactic, a form of space tourism for the modern world. Whether he succeeds first time or not is yet to be seen but it will happen sometime in the future, prices are really only for the super-wealthy with ticket prices from $200,000 with a minimum of $20,000 deposit. If you have ever dreamed about traveling to space you’d better start saving up!

#16 Aurland Lookout, Norway

Aurland Lookout, Norway

This had to be included, not only because of the stunning views across Norway’s Aurland region. There are montains, forestry and beautiful sunsets on the cards at this astonishing place. The lookout itself is amazing, think modern structure with a twist of Ikea and you have the right image in mind for how this huge structure looks. Amazingly enough the lookout only has a piece of strengthened glass to stop those who are too curious to look over the edge, surprising really seeing as there is one hell of a drop should you slip. This is an awesome place to visit and you will not forget the trip in a hurry although you may want to take a parachute, a harness and possibly attach yourself to your friends via a long rope!

#17 Illawarra Fly, Australia

Illawarra Fly, Australia

Not only is the Treetop Walk in Illawarra amazing just for the architectural engineering, the views are absolutely breathtaking. If you have ever watched the UK television program ‘ I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ you will have seen similar views, but in person this is just incredible, look out across hundreds of square miles of wild forestry and land as well as seeing the ocean from this incredibly tall structure. The sunsets are said to be astonishing and just from some of the images I have viewed I think it is pretty safe to agree that would be the case. If you are not afraid of heights and you are traveling to Australia soon, stop by here it will make your day.

#18 Summit Of Gehrenspitze , Austria

Summit Of Gehrenspitze , Austria

Tyrol (Austria) is actually split into two seperate states, both with amazing scenery and wildlife as well as some fantastic cities and towns, but what we really want to show you is the fantastic views from the summit of the Gehrenspitze. The Gehrenspitze is a 7766 ft in height and is absolutely gorgeous even from the bottom. The amazing lakes and landscapes surrounding you will take your breath away quite literally. Once at the summit of Gehrenspitze, (make sure you go with a guide) you will be able to see far and wide across the state of Tyrol which is just beautiful throughout. If you are a nature boy or girl this is definitely one for you. Make sure you take some warm clothes, it can be nippy.

#19 The Amazon Treetops

Ariau Amazon Towers Resort

This may seem strange but hang on with me a minute; the Amazon Rainforest is at the best of times, one of the most beautiful places on earth which has been touched little and remains vastly unexplored due to the massive area it covers. Within the Amazon Rainforest there is an amazing place where you can relax and enjoy the sights of this great forest in great comfort. I’m talking about the infamous Ariau Amazon Towers Resort, the worlds largest treetop hotel! View the sun rising and setting amongst the beauty of the forest from the outdoors swimming pool, the bar or from your room; this is a place you definitely want to try and get out to!

#20 Santorini, Greece

Santorini, Greece

This fantastic volcanic island in Greece is astonishingly beautiful, without anything else. The quant city is surreal as well as being very peaceful. There aren’t all that many people on the tiny island but on trading days it can become fairly hectic. The real beauty comes to life at night as the sun begins to set over the wide ocean in front of you. The island begins to glow warm colors, with the buildings mimicking the sky due to their white color, the ocean gradually becomes darker and darker, and the horizon appears to be on fire with glorious vibrant colors. This really is a spectacular place to be and the island is a joy to explore. If you want a nice calm holiday this is the place for you.
