What adventurer wouldn’t want to visit this amazing mountain, let alone visit the top of the worlds largest mountain. Unfortunately it is somewhat difficult to reach the top of Mount Everest although it is possible to do. To do this you would have to get yourself very healthy, possibly learn to rock climb, and have a very trust-worthy guide to go along with you. The sensational sights below the summit of Mount Everest are gorgeous and it is something that should definitely be done if you are able to do such a thing. There aren’t many people who can say they reached the summit of Mount Everest and survived. It would be the greatest adventure of your life, do you think you have what it takes?
The Northern Lights, Norway
The Aurora Borealis often referred to as the Northern Lights, is a truly amazing and beautiful spectacle that you must try to see. The reason for the lights is actually by the solar flares from the sun; it’s something that you don’t get to see very often if at all and unfortunately there are very few place you can see them from, at least clearly. The Aurora Borealis is stunning and you shouldn’t miss out on this amazing sight.
#7 Shangrila Skardu, Pakistan
This is a beautiful place in the heart of Pakistan and is close to perfect; there are stunning mountain views, beautiful scenery and then there is also the infamous Shangrila Resort Hotel, which is also known as ‘Heaven On Earth’ It would appear to be true, the resort looks stunning. I guided tour around Shagrila would be a great way to see this beautiful area safely and you would also be able to stay at the Shangrila Resort Hotel should you wish to do so.
#8 City Scape Of New York From The Empire State Building
New York, New York, the city so good they named it twice. One thing is for sure, there are a lot of very well presented buildings and structures in New York, an architect would be right at home in this amazing city. Viewing the cityscape of New York must be an amazing experience, especially at night when you can see all of the sky-scrapers lit up in all their glory. They say New York is the city that never sleeps, and if that’s true then the cityscape should be pretty spectacular with everyone moving around below.
#9 View Paris From The Top Of The Eiffel Tower
This may seem a little bit of a cliché but viewing Paris via the Eiffel Tower really is a magical thing to do, especially if you are up there around sunset when the whole of Paris turns a beautiful, zesty red and pink colour from. Known as one of the most romantic places in the world, Paris is definitely worth visiting, with a planned trip up the tower a must for any first-timer. If you have never been to Paris, or indeed France then you need to try this out.
#10 The Antarctic Glaciers
The Antarctic is one of the most unusual and untouched places on the planet and you can see this when you travel there. There are so many places in the world where you can simply stay and be pampered by the pool, in the saunas, but here you are basically fighting for your life. The cold is so severe you have to wear specific clothing, but don’t let that put you off the Antarctic glaciers as they are some of the most beautiful sights you are ever likely to see. The blues and whites are impossibly vibrant and you get a real feeling of peace and relaxation.
#11 Iguazu Falls, Argentina
The Iguazu Falls in Argentina is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, as well as one of the largest. The Iguazu Falls, although one complete waterfall, is actually spread across a very large area making it seem as though there are multiple waterfalls within it. This beautiful phenomenon is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in Argentina and upon leaving the falls you will not be disappointed with the scenic route back to civilization, this is a must see, especially if you enjoy natural structures and waterfalls.
#12 Paradise Cove, Hawaii
Visiting Hawaii is always going to be a fun and unique experience, the palm trees, the hot weather and of course the friendly locals all add to the quality of the island, and a quality place to be it is indeed. Paradise Cove is a small area within Hawaii where people love to go to watch the beautiful sunsets as well as the surrounding landscapes. One of the best parts of Paradise Cove is that once you have enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets you can go take part in the close by Luau which is just fantastic, a perfect day in Hawaii, just make sure you stay on the right side of the law, or else you may have ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ on your case!
#13 Chicago’s Cityscape, USA
Chicago is one of the better known cities in the USA, it is the largest state in Illinois and it is home to some of the top celebrities in the world, even Walt Disney originally came from Chicago. Known as the Windy City for reasons not quite realised (there are three possibilities for it being nicknamed the Windy City). Chicago is host to an astonishing array of sky scraper buildings which completely take over the skyline, the cityscape at night is amazing especially if you can get yourself to the Willis Tower (Chicago’s tallest building). After watching the gorgeous night cityscape you will find hundreds of things to do in the city itself. This is well worth a visit.
#14 The Summit Of Machu Picchu, Urubamba Valley
Machu Picchu is one of the oldest civillizations known to man, it is believed that this was once a great city of power in the region, but time has left it in a derelict state, although beautiful at the same time. At the summit of Machu Picchu you will be able to view across a beautiful scenic area, with visible mountains, forestry area’s and of course the Machu Picchu City. Once there you will feel as though you are part of the Indiana Jones franchise as the adventurer inside you comes alive. This beautiful place is fantastic, the sunrise and sunset viewed from the summit is said to be second to none. Don’t forget your hat and whip if you do decide to go!
#15 View Earth From Space
Okay so this is not really viable at the present moment in time but mark my words the era of space tourism will be with us before this decade is over, in fact it is a very realistic venture within the next 18-24months thanks to British pioneer Richard Branson. This famous Brit is set to make dreams come true when he finalizes the Virgin Galactic, a form of space tourism for the modern world. Whether he succeeds first time or not is yet to be seen but it will happen sometime in the future, prices are really only for the super-wealthy with ticket prices from $200,000 with a minimum of $20,000 deposit. If you have ever dreamed about traveling to space you’d better start saving up!
#16 Aurland Lookout, Norway
This had to be included, not only because of the stunning views across Norway’s Aurland region. There are montains, forestry and beautiful sunsets on the cards at this astonishing place. The lookout itself is amazing, think modern structure with a twist of Ikea and you have the right image in mind for how this huge structure looks. Amazingly enough the lookout only has a piece of strengthened glass to stop those who are too curious to look over the edge, surprising really seeing as there is one hell of a drop should you slip. This is an awesome place to visit and you will not forget the trip in a hurry although you may want to take a parachute, a harness and possibly attach yourself to your friends via a long rope!
#17 Illawarra Fly, Australia
Not only is the Treetop Walk in Illawarra amazing just for the architectural engineering, the views are absolutely breathtaking. If you have ever watched the UK television program ‘ I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ you will have seen similar views, but in person this is just incredible, look out across hundreds of square miles of wild forestry and land as well as seeing the ocean from this incredibly tall structure. The sunsets are said to be astonishing and just from some of the images I have viewed I think it is pretty safe to agree that would be the case. If you are not afraid of heights and you are traveling to Australia soon, stop by here it will make your day.
#18 Summit Of Gehrenspitze , Austria
Tyrol (Austria) is actually split into two seperate states, both with amazing scenery and wildlife as well as some fantastic cities and towns, but what we really want to show you is the fantastic views from the summit of the Gehrenspitze. The Gehrenspitze is a 7766 ft in height and is absolutely gorgeous even from the bottom. The amazing lakes and landscapes surrounding you will take your breath away quite literally. Once at the summit of Gehrenspitze, (make sure you go with a guide) you will be able to see far and wide across the state of Tyrol which is just beautiful throughout. If you are a nature boy or girl this is definitely one for you. Make sure you take some warm clothes, it can be nippy.
#19 The Amazon Treetops
This may seem strange but hang on with me a minute; the Amazon Rainforest is at the best of times, one of the most beautiful places on earth which has been touched little and remains vastly unexplored due to the massive area it covers. Within the Amazon Rainforest there is an amazing place where you can relax and enjoy the sights of this great forest in great comfort. I’m talking about the infamous Ariau Amazon Towers Resort, the worlds largest treetop hotel! View the sun rising and setting amongst the beauty of the forest from the outdoors swimming pool, the bar or from your room; this is a place you definitely want to try and get out to!
#20 Santorini, Greece
This fantastic volcanic island in Greece is astonishingly beautiful, without anything else. The quant city is surreal as well as being very peaceful. There aren’t all that many people on the tiny island but on trading days it can become fairly hectic. The real beauty comes to life at night as the sun begins to set over the wide ocean in front of you. The island begins to glow warm colors, with the buildings mimicking the sky due to their white color, the ocean gradually becomes darker and darker, and the horizon appears to be on fire with glorious vibrant colors. This really is a spectacular place to be and the island is a joy to explore. If you want a nice calm holiday this is the place for you.
To your next adventure,
