This hike and bike trail, located in Redwood National Park is a beautiful journey through the Redwood forest. The trail is open to bicycles so we recommend for you to ride out-and-back as you experience the California Redwoods and be mesmerized at the beauty of these giants. Along the ride, you will encounter the Alder trees that accents the banks of the creek.
The trail begins at the Lost Man Creek Picnic Area off Highway 101 and has a dirt corduroy road, it climbs at an easy grade up to Holter Ridge, then runs along the ridge to Bald Hills Road. It is an hour or 8 of hike or ride with non-level grades.
