Top 3 Adventure Hacks

1) Never Approach Wild Animals

Never be too friendly and approach wild animals. No matter how cute and harmless they appear to be, they are very unpredictable. Some of them can suddenly become extremely territorial and may attack without a warning.

2) Keep Track of your Location

Use the map to track where you are every once in a while. This is one of the best ways to ensure that you won’t get lost on the Medicine Lake Volcano trail, especially if you’re hiking alone.

3) Avoid Soda When Hiking

While it may be tempting to bring your favorite carbonated drink when hiking, it will actually make you thirstier than normal. Soda can also drive dehydration, especially if you’re up for a long hike. Instead, simply go for water. You can also pack with you water purifier for when you find a water source and want to ensure its cleanliness.
